Join us for Izakaya recipes Saturday, January 25th from 3-5PM.  Also known as Japanese Tapas, Izakaya plates vary and are frequently rich in flavor.  In this series, we demonstrate a few different small plates that you can easily replicate at home.  Excellent as starters or to serve guests over drinks.  

Izakaya restaurants are essentially Japanese taverns – drinking houses with a menu of small dishes for snacking while drinking. It literally means “stay sake shop” so traditionally this was a place where you could sit and drink on the premises. In today’s izakayas you can order food and drink and hang out with friends for an evening.

$5 event fee can be applied to product on the day of the event only and no other date. The new ticket pricing was developed because people registered for the event but did not show. We cap our events at 24 guests and several times there was a show of 3 or 5 guests but 24 people were booked. People would call asking to come to the event but the cap had been reached so we could not risk having too many people at the event. We hope you understand our concern for all of our guests.
