"For too long, special interests and political insiders have created an unfair system that drowns out the voice of the people. It’s time for new energy and a new approach to local government. A new approach that puts residents first. A new energy that innovates bold solutions to our biggest challenges.

• The north 111 corridor, the Gateway to Palm Springs, has been historically neglected. I see opportunity for revitalization and good jobs for small businesses.
• Homelessness and housing prices are on the rise. I see opportunity for inclusive, affordable growth that provides for our most vulnerable residents while keeping the character of our communities.
• Police, Firefighters and First Responders are overworked and often underfunded. I see opportunity for safer neighborhoods and faster response times.

Call me an optimist.After decades owning and running businesses, I am in a point in my life where it’s time for me to give back to the world that has given me so much.There’s a reason Palm Springs is an international destination. It’s a special place. It’s diverse and inclusive-- with arts and culture, recreation, and distinctive neighborhoods that allow residents to feel at home no matter their background.This may be a “tourist town” to the rest of the world, but to those of us who call it home, it is full of both opportunities and hardships. We have a chance to harness our collective energy and champion change at City Hall.
