Food from around the world Sake pairs exceptionally well with so many foods. That's because sake inherently pairs well with the basics. When looking at Sake acid structure, there is Succinic and Lactic Acids. Succinic acid is found in fish and shellfish and lactic acid is found in cheese. What doesn't go well with both.
